Prior to founding MI+R, Mike fine-tuned his marketing and market research skills in leading advertising agencies and Fortune 500 companies. He has held the title of VP of Global Strategy, New Products Director, and Brand Manager among others as he rose through a career marked by an ability to connect insight to action. His track record is full of real business results, innovative strategy, many industry awards.

Mike holds a Ph.D. from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, in addition to an MBA from Xavier University, and a Global Marketing Certificate from Thunderbird School of Global Management. His qualitative research training includes advanced classes at both RIVA and Burke Market Research. Over the years, his qualitative skills have evolved from traditional focus groups to include more advanced techniques of ethnography and observational research. Mike teaches and lectures at the University level, as well as writes and speaks extensively on the topic of innovation.
